Our Story

A house built around water and light

Azura opened in 2002 on a stretch of coast the family had known for three generations. The brief to the architects was one sentence long: never let a guest lose sight of the sea.

What followed was a low, glass-walled building that steps down the dune rather than over it. Forty-two rooms, none of them identical. Three kitchens, one marine spa, and a service team whose average tenure is nine years.

  • Every suite faces the water — no interior-facing rooms, at any tier
  • Certified marine-conservation partner since 2011, with a resident biologist
  • Private jetty, boathouse and 400 metres of protected shoreline

Rooms & Suites

Forty-two rooms, no two alike

The thalasso circuit at the marine spa

Marine Spa

Salt water, slower hours

A 1,400 m² spa built directly above the reef shelf, drawing filtered sea water for every pool in the circuit.

The circuit runs cold plunge, mineral steam, warm flotation and a shaded rest deck. Ninety minutes is the sweet spot; our therapists will tell you the order that suits you.

  • Eight treatment rooms, two of them doubles
  • Complimentary circuit access for suite and villa guests
  • Daily sunrise yoga on the jetty deck, no charge

Dining

A menu written twice a day

Three kitchens, one shared principle: if it did not arrive this morning, it is not on the plate tonight.

Marea works the fire — whole fish, wood-grilled over sea grape. Verde is the garden room, largely plant-led. And the Salt Bar keeps a raw counter and a short cocktail list going until midnight.

Guest Stories

Words from our guests

An average of 4.9 out of 5 across 2,400 verified reviews. Here is a small selection.

We have stayed at resorts across three continents and nothing matched the calm of the ocean villa. The glass pavilion at sunrise is worth the flight on its own.
Amelia Hartwell Ocean Villa · 6 nights
The team remembered our anniversary without being told twice. Breakfast on the terrace, a private cabana, and the most attentive service we have experienced.
Daniel Okafor Executive Suite · 4 nights
Travelling with two children is rarely restful, but the family suite and the kids marine programme gave us an actual holiday. We rebooked before checking out.
Sofia Bianchi Family Suite · 8 nights
The marine spa is exceptional — the salt-water flotation and the thalasso circuit left me better rested than a fortnight off. Faultless from arrival to departure.
Marcus Lindqvist Penthouse Suite · 3 nights
